On Monday, a $17.1 billion multistate settlement was reached with Meta Platforms Inc. in one of the largest state consumer protection settlements in history.

The settlement would require Meta to set a two-hour daily limit for teen users by default, disable notifications during school hours, and hide likes and reactions.
